CompuPay Selected As Finalist For Best Places To Work In South Florida For The Second Year

MIRAMAR, Fla. (Feb. 20, 2008) --- CompuPay, Inc. (www.compupay.com), one of the country's leading providers of payroll, tax filing and HR-related services, has again been selected as a finalist for "The Best Places to Work in South Florida" distributed by the Best Companies and sponsored by the South Florida Business Journal.

The ranking was released January 22, 2008 and CompuPay was chosen as a finalist for the second year in a row from among hundreds of companies participating in the survey.  The finalists are separated into three size categories.  CompuPay falls in the medium-sized company category among 17 other finalists.  The winner for each category will be announced on February 21, 2008 at an awards ceremony held at the Broward County Convention Center located in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

The "Best Places to Work" awards are self-driven by company employees who answer a 40 question survey regarding their business establishment. The questions are based on a six-point Likert scale, with answers ranging from strongly disagrees to strongly agree. Over a four-month period, the surveys are reviewed and a score is devised for each nominee, ultimately determining winners in the small, medium and large business categories.

"We are extremely honored and proud to once again be named one of the finalists for this prestigious award," said Charlie Lathrop, chairman, CEO and president of CompuPay. "We take great pride as a company in providing 'extreme service' and by empowering all employees to do their best and be their best when serving the needs of our clients, both internal and external.  At CompuPay, we strive to provide a culture and professional work environment where employees feel they can grow and contribute to the success of the company."

CompuPay, Inc. was founded in 1980 and today is the largest privately-held payroll company in the U.S. and among the top five overall. Its growing network of local offices processes payroll for tens of thousands of companies ranging in size from 1 to over 10,000 employees in all 50 states. The company offers payroll and employer-related services such as workers' compensation insurance, employee benefits, retirement plans and Section 125 and 132 plans to clients seeking highly flexible, innovative solutions to meet their growing business needs.
