Do I need an Internet connection to use XpressPayroll?
Yes. An Internet connection is required to use XpressPayroll. You can conveniently and securely process your payroll and access your data 24 hours a day from any computer with an Internet connection.
What is the pricing for this service?
Pricing for XpressPayroll is designed to affordably fit within the budgets of today’s small businesses. XpressPayroll and many helpful features are all included in one low monthly fee. Please contact a sales representative for a free quote.
Do I get charged per payroll?
XpressPayroll is offered for one low monthly price and billing will occur on a monthly basis.
Do I have a support team to call with questions?
Absolutely. XpressPayroll clients are supported by a highly experienced team of payroll client services representatives available 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Central time Monday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central time on Friday.
Does XpressPayroll file my taxes?
XpressPayroll provides full tax filing, payment and compliance. This helpful service is included in the low monthly fee. We even guarantee accurate and on time filings and will pay any IRS penalties incurred.*
Does the system offer direct deposit?
Yes. XpressPayroll offers direct deposit for all employees up to two accounts per employee. You will not pay extra for direct deposit with XpressPayroll. Direct deposit is included in our low monthly fee!
How do I get my checks?
If you have employees who are not on direct deposit, checks can be created online and printed in your office. Additionally, XpressPayroll allows your employees to view check stubs online, often eliminating the need to print pay advices.
How long does XpressPayroll keep the payroll reports online?
XpressPayroll keeps payroll reports processed with CompuPay for six years and W-2s processed with CompuPay for two years. Reports and W-2s are accessible online.
Can XpressPayroll handle multiple pay frequencies?
XpressPayroll cannot handle multiple pay frequencies. PowerPayroll is a great choice for businesses requiring more than one pay frequency.
What if I have employees in more than one state?
XpressPayroll is designed for businesses with five or fewer employees in one state. A seamless upgrade to our PowerPayroll online payroll service is a great option for employers paying employees in two or more states.
How long does it take to process the payroll on this service?
Payroll generally takes just a few minutes and can be completed in seven mouse clicks. Payroll is then processed and checks can be printed within two hours.
What if my business grows to over five employees?
We find that as our clients grow, they have the need for additional payroll system features and choose to seamlessly upgrade to our PowerPayroll service. PowerPayroll is a great online payroll choice for businesses with six to 150 employees.
*CompuPay will pay any IRS penalties as long as the information provided to us by the client is complete accurate and on time and the client’s payroll tax account is fully funded.
