Add Employees
To add a new employee:
- Click on “Add new employee” tab
- Enter the employee’s demographic information (name, address, telephone number, etc.)
- Enter payroll and tax information (job status, default hours worked, and tax withholding)
- Setup Voluntary deduction information (direct deposit into 2 accounts, garnishments, 401(k) deductions, etc.)
Run Payroll
With XpressPayroll you can process your payroll in 7 mouse clicks or less.
To run a new payroll:
- Click on “Payroll” tab
- You’ll enter the end date and check date.
- Enter hours for your employees.
- Review the pre-transmission report to make sure your employees’ hours were entered correctly. If changes need to be made, you can make them within this report.
- Select “save.”
- Select to “submit payroll.”
- Select “save.”
- Select to “submit payroll.”
Print Checks
Printing payroll checks is quick and painless with XpressPayroll.
To print payroll checks:
- Click on “Check Print” tab
- Select your date period.
- Enter the starting check number from your check stock.
- Choose to print. The system will prompt you to make sure the checks have printed properly.
In this area, you can also:
- Print your deposit advices in the same manner.
- Ensure that the correct check numbers were entered. These can be changed after the fact.
Access Reports
Your XpressPayroll reports package is comprehensive and convenient.
To access your payroll reports:
- Click on “Reports” tab
- Choose your payroll period and report type.
- Select the type of format you need, whether it’s HTML, Adobe PDF (.pdf), Microsoft® Word (.doc), rich text (.rtf), or plain text (.txt).
- Select “go” and your report is now available.

- Payroll Check Register
- Earnings Report
- Deduction Register
- EFT Entry Register
Update Information
XpressPayroll makes it convenient to update your account information online.
- Update account information such as company contact, company address and shipping address.
- Adjust your login information.
- Set your default earn types for employees.
